Fieldston Counselor-in-training program
Rising 9th–10th Grade | JUNE 19–AUGUST 4
The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is a seven-week program that explores leadership in a tangible and dynamic way. The first three weeks of the program focus on what it means to be a leader, as well as what leadership looks like in the camp environment. Training will cover topics such as team building, inclusion, social-emotional intelligence, and child engagement. Following the training weeks, Fieldston CITs will become certified in First Aid/CPR. This will enable CITs to utilize their new skills and function as junior counselors at our very own Fieldston camps for the last week of the program. At the conclusion of the summer, CITs may be invited to return the following summer to work as junior counselors.
Program cost: $1200
*Read the Week of Discovery section to learn more about the CIT program offered at Ethical Culture.
Financial aid is available to families based on financial needs. Families already receiving financial aid are eligible to receive aid toward summer camp. The financial aid deadline for non-ECFS families is Wednesday 3/15.
