WEEK OF DISCOVERY AT ETHICAL CULTURE

Welcome to Ethical Culture's Week of Discovery Camp

Pre-K–4th Grade | Date TBA

Week of Discovery is an exciting program filled with age-appropriate activities for children in Pre-K–4th Grade. The program takes full advantage of the gymnasiums and rooftop playground, as well as the proximity of Central Park.

Throughout the week, children investigate themes incorporated into art, science, and nature activities and share their discoveries. These themes are expanded in other activities, including sports, games, music, movement, storytelling, drama, and cooking. Under the supervision of experienced counselors, children also go on special outings, such as the Central Park Zoo trip. Although each child is part of a smaller peer group of similar ages, every child is also a member of the larger group. This gives each child a different and special kind of social and learning experience. Children have fun, exciting days, but there is always time for relaxation, reflection, and individual pursuits.
